How Ei Publican Partnerships worked with our publicans to invest over £1m in our North East pubs
Ei Publican Partnerships, the UK's leading leased and tenanted pub business and part of Ei Group, has invested close to £1m into its pubs in the North East over the last six months.
The investment, which formed part of a wider expenditure into hundreds of pubs across the UK, demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to supporting, developing and investing in its publicans across the region.
Among the largest investment was a £146,000 injection to improve The Cottage Inn at Haxby which underwent a full refurbishment, including the addition of a disabled ramp at the entrance, a brand-new bar fitting, tiled flooring and new toilets. A further £145,000 has been invested to upgrade The Rising Sun at Crawcrook which saw a refurbishment of its key trading areas.
Nick Light, Managing Director, Ei Publican Partnerships, said: "We're committed to supporting, developing and investing in our publicans throughout the North East to help create exceptional local pubs at the heart of the community.
"Using our industry-leading segmentation tool, which enables us to analyse the local area in detail and create a retail offer that best suits the community, we're confident that the investment we have put into pubs across the region has been spent wisely."
Other notable Ei Publican Partnerships investments across the region include: £151,000 in The Grey Hen in South Shields; £61,000 in The Bay Horse in Darlington; and £60,000 in The Nelson Inn at Scarborough; to name a few.
