Worcestershire-based multi-site pub operators John and Cathy Cleary are set to launch their second site with Ei Publican Partnerships following an investment of more than £160,000.
John and Cathy have taken over the Black Boy in Wyre Hill, Wribbenhall, after a total investment of £163,000 from Ei Publican Partnerships. The couple also operate Ye Olde Horseshoe in Belbroughton, Worcestershire.
The investment has transformed and doubled the size of the kitchen and created a new, attractive outside area, including a beer garden. The new-look Black Boy also has a refreshed interior, including an extended seating area, as well as an improved 'homemade food' and drinks menu offering.
John said: "We have a long-standing, good relationship with Ei Publican Partnerships and saw this as a great opportunity to have the pub renovated for the local community. It looks incredible now and we can't wait for the opening night.
"We're very much looking forward to welcoming the local customers and hopefully seeing some new faces after the launch. We'd like to thank Ei Publican Partnerships for giving us the opportunity to run the Black Boy."
Ei Publican Partnerships Regional Manager Matthew Obrey added: "John and Cathy have a wealth of experience operating Ye Olde Horseshoe so it was a very easy decision for us to make when they expressed interest in the site. The pub is looking fabulous now and we wish them all the best for the future.
