Our business strategy is based on empowering our publicans to run great British pubs for the benefit of the local communities they serve. We strive to off​er industry-leading levels of help, advice and support to enable our publicans to build successful and sustainable pub businesses. ​

We are committed to sourcing the best product range to help our publicans stay one step ahead of their competition. This incudes an extensive range of international, national and regional brands that are regularly reviewed and refreshed to ensure we are meeting our publican's customers expectations.

We provide training programmes that have been developed by industry experts and are specifically designed to help new and established publicans build and grow successful pub businesses.

We provide marketing advice, collateral and support to help our publicans increase volume, sales and footfall. Our partnerships with third parties enable our publicans to provide  their customers with many additional facilities such as top TV sport.

Our portfolio of well over 5,000 pubs offers a great choice of properties for existing and new publicans to build their dream pub business.  We work in partnership with many publicans to invest in their development plans for their business.

We also operate a number of managed houses and will continue to add to our managed estate over time.  We will be able to share our experiences in managed pub retailing with our lessees and tenants, leveraging our scale and resources in order to provide additional goods, services and insights to support them.  We have developed an innovative and flexible approach in the way we propose to run our managed business through three managed house models:​​
    1. ​​Managed Expert We have a partnership model whereby we can work with expert managed house operators in order to utilise their retailing flair and capability in pubs with exceptional profit potential. The operational resource and expertise is provided by our retail partners.
    2. Bermondsey Pub CompanyWe have used our pub segmentation model to identify those pubs into which we can most effectively install a managed operating model. We currently have two retail propositions, Meeting House and Friends & Family. To visit the website click here.
    3. The Craft Union Pub CompanyWe have developed a community pub offer, which will be operated in predominantly urban and neighbourhood locations.
