Our aim is to attract and retain high quality applicants who wish to become publicans running their own pub, or possibly investors wishing to manage more than one pub business.
There are a number of key roles within the department, all of which work closely with field operations/Regional Managers supporting divisional business units.
Recruitment co-ordinators work closely with Regional Managers to ensure available pubs are advertised on our website; producing detailed and accurate particulars, sending e-shots, arranging banners and To Let boards and, from time to time, attending roadshows and open days. The RC is the first point of contact for prospective publicans either by phone or via the website.
RCs focus on providing excellent customer service and, whilst having a creative flair, must maintain a high level of accuracy.
Training co-ordinators assist with the planning and scheduling of a full programme of training to include pre-entry, induction and development courses and workshops for publicans. The TC is responsible for promoting all courses, sending joining instructions ensuring maximum attendance and responding to feedback. The TC is also responsible for administering the e-learning programme we offer our publicans. The ability to multi-task and good organisational skills is essential.
